Deal no deal card game instructions

Well guess what: now YOU get to join in the zany action! YOU get to relive the experience right in your living room with your own family and friends, and YOU don't have to spend a single penny! Behold, my custom-brewed Deal or No Deal template! I'm releasing the two PDF's in the public domain. That means you can anything you want with the PDF's, even claim that you were the one who created them!

Deal or No Deal on Paper. Supportive but overreacting people preferred. To set up the game: Print the two PDF's.

Cut out the money board and briefcase cards. Fold the money board in half so it stands up like in the picture. Shuffle the briefcase cards and flip them to the other side. Shuffle the cards again and present the cards face down as shown in the picture. To play the game: The contestant begins by selecting a briefcase he or she thinks has the million dollars inside. This process continues in rounds as follows: In Round 1: 6 cases are opened, Round 2: 5 cases, Round 3: 4 cases, Round 4: 3 cases, Round 5: 2 cases, Rounds 6 to 9: 1 case opened.

Round 2 cases-as shown in the right column on the chart. The host can now pay to guess the amount of the contestant's special briefcase. The host must pay the guess price for the round just played; they cannot have a free guess. If the contestant does not take the offer , they proceed to the next round of choosing briefcases. When they have chosen all the cases for this round, the host again makes an offer. This play continues for 9 rounds or until an offer is taken.

If the contestant goes all the way to Round 10 there will be 2 briefcases remaining - one with a case hold- er or in the center of the play area and the contestant's special case. At this point the host makes one final money offer. If the contestant does not take the offer, they can then choose to keep their case or trade it for the one that is left.

Then the contestant opens their own briefcase and this is the value they win from the host. If the contestant does take the final offer, then the case holder who holds the final briefcase does not get to guess what is inside their case.

The player holding this briefcase wins the kitty immediately. The holder does not need to have guessed correctly. However, if a contestant goes all the way to Round 10 and does not take the host'sfinal offer, then even if one of the last 2 briefcases contains the. If either of the "win kitty" cards are chosen and the kitty is empty because a player has recently won it , no money is won. Otherwise the kitty remains empty until players pay for guesses.

From time to time you may wish to pause and have all players add up how much money they have to see who is winning. This can certainly affect people's decisions as the game gets closer to the end. Agood host can easily keep track of how many briefcases have been opened by neatly stacking them in piles of 6, then 5, 4, The host can also assist the contestant by making regular announcements like "Okay, 3 more to open". The Player must choose five of the remaining 21 Number Cards to have the amounts underneath revealed.

The other players take it in turn to flip over the cards and reveal these amounts with only two players The Banker reveals the cards. The Banker crosses the revealed amounts off the scoreboard. All revealed Number Cards and their matching Amount Cards are removed from the table. The Banker must now make an offer to the Player for their Amount Card.

The Banker must think about which amounts have been revealed and which values are still left before making an offer to the Player for their card. The Banker must try to offer an amount as low as possible for the Player's card which is still high enough for the Player to possibly accept.

Players may find it helpful if The Banker's offers are written down as the game progresses. If the Player accepts an offer the game is still played out to see what the outcome of the game would have been. The Player scores the amount they have accepted. When the Player's chosen card is finally revealed, if the amount on this card is lower than The Banker's offer, then The Banker does not score.

If the amount is higher, then The Banker scores the difference between the offer and the amount on the card.
