Cannot load ca certificate file ca.crt openssl




















Unable to load certificates when trying to generate pfx file Ask Question. Asked 7 years, 9 months ago. Active 5 years, 3 months ago. Viewed 95k times. I get the error: unable to load certificates I have also tried this: x -text -in myserver.

I seem to get it no matter what I do. Can someone please help? I wish someone had told my boss at the time that it wasn't a programming or development topic and then I wouldn't have had all that pain ; — davy.

With my server certificate in PEM format and with the required intermediates and private key, I then issue the following which looks like the same command you are using : openssl pkcs12 -export -in www-example-com.

I was able to identify my mistake on the server and the server side VPN is now running properly.

However, I am still unable to connect with the client. I grabbed new copies of both the client and server config and edited the directories. This is now the exact client config I am running. I don't know how to check if the file is getting read. I assume there is a problem with the certificate I'm pasting in the web GUI.

I did not copy the single quotes before and after the hyphens. Before I pasted the certificate into the Certificate Authority web GUI textbox, I pressed delete many times and then backspace many times after clicking in the textbox to make sure there were not spaces or linebreaks, etc. Also, to anyone who takes the trouble to try to help me, if you would private message me your paypal email, I'd be happy to donate to you to at least somewhat compensate you for going to the trouble of trying to help me with this.
