I actioned step 2and 3 and the first page was scanned. Re step 4 - there was no option on the toolbar to select "New Scan". Thank you!! Mariatina BLA. The only way that I found to do it was to go into Program Files and open the old HP scan application and use that instead and can now scan a number of pages into one PDF file as before.

This doesn't answer the original question! OK, but I've been scanning documents all morning, but even unchecking "Preview or scan images as seperate files" doesn't do anything. I still get a different image for each scan, with no visible way to add a page to the image or any way to scan except for "New Scan".
